This Privacy Policy explains how **Documents Scanner & Pdf Tools**
("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the
App, you agree to the practices described below.

## 1. Data We Collect

**We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, documents,
scans, or images to our own servers.** The App works entirely on-device:

- **Scanned documents & PDFs** are saved only in the App's private storage
  on your device (`Android/data/com.Aidocsscan.pdfmaster/files/`). They are
  never uploaded anywhere by the App.
- **PDF & Image Tools** (merge, split, password protect, watermark,
  signature, PDF edit/annotate, resize, compress, etc.) all run entirely
  on-device. No file you open or create with these tools is sent anywhere.
- **QR code & barcode scanning** is performed on-device using Google's Code
  Scanner (part of Google Play services). We only scan codes — the App does
  **not** include a code-generation feature, so no personal information
  (such as phone numbers, Wi‑Fi passwords, or contact details) is ever
  typed into the App for that purpose.
- **Scan history** (a list of codes you've scanned and their decoded text)
  is stored locally on your device only, using Android's standard app
  storage. It is never uploaded anywhere and is deleted if you clear the
  App's data or uninstall it.
- **Text extraction (OCR)** runs fully on-device using Google's ML Kit —
  no image or text is sent to any server for this feature.
- **No account, sign-in, or personal profile information** is collected,
  because the App has no login system.

## 2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads through **Google AdMob**. To show and measure ads,
Google's Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects certain data on its own,
independent of the App's own code:

- **Advertising ID / App Set ID** (device identifiers used for ad
  personalization and fraud prevention)
- **Diagnostic information** (app performance data such as launch time)
- **IP address** and general device information

This collection is performed by Google's SDK itself, not by code we wrote,
and is governed by Google's own privacy practices:

You can reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time from your
device's settings: **Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Opt
out of Ads Personalization** (path may vary by Android version).

## 3. Permissions We Use

## 4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party SDKs, each governed by its own
privacy policy:

## 5. Data Retention & Deletion

All scanned documents and history remain on your device until you delete
them yourself (via the "My Documents" tab, the scan history screen, or by
uninstalling the App). We have no access to this data and cannot delete it
remotely, because we never receive it.

## 6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children, as the App collects no
personal information from anyone.

## 7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on
this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App
after changes means you accept the revised policy.
